Harper Smith is currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager and a Foreman to join an established and reputable construction firm in Tauranga. This company  provides training for all staff including site safe, first aid and elevated platform tickets.

Site Manager

This role will be an 60/40 split of office/site work, supervising teams on a variety of projects including commercial, industrial, retail and fit out. Projects vary in size up to $5 million plus.
To be successful in this role you will require:

• Trade qualification
• At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role
• Excellent people management skills
• Fantastic communication skills, both written and verbal
• A strong understanding and commitment to outstanding health and safety
• Strong technological ability

Foreman 

This role will be on the tools, supervising a team of carpenters on commercial, industrial and fit out and retail projects.
To be successful in this role you will require:

• Trade qualification
• At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role
• Your own basic tools
• Fantastic communication skills, both written and verbal
• A strong understanding and commitment to outstanding health and safety
