This role will see the successful candidate involved in commercial and industrial structural design, project management from conception to completion, and draughting. In addition, you will coordinate and interact with contractors, architects and developers and carry out site inspections. Enjoy free car parking and a great office location in Papakura.

You will have:

• A Bachelor of Engineering (Civil)
• Competency in structural design within the New Zealand environment (or similar) and some experience of seismic design
• A firm grasp of New Zealand standards
• Some knowledge of Revit, Etabs, MS Project, Civil3D
• Excellent computer skills including MS Word & Excel, AutoCAD and Spacegass

In addition, you will be self-motivated with a keen eye for detail and strong initiative. The ability to work as part of a team, make timely decisions and use sound analytical and judgement skills will set you in good stead, as will being an effective multi-tasker. 

The successful applicant will need to be a New Zealand citizen or have permanent residency.
