Eliot Sinclair are looking for an Intermediate or Senior Resource Management Planner to join their successful planning team and be responsible for a range of land development and planning projects. This role will be based out of the Nelson office.
The work is varied, ranging from residential, commercial and rural developments to large scale infrastructure and land development projects.

Key Responsibilities:
- Resource management assessments, evaluation, reporting and administration of resource consents for land development projects
- Collaborate with internal teams across our regional offices, leveraging our in-house expertise.
- Mitigate project risks through a considered approach
- Property development advice including feasibility studies
- Present evidence at council hearings or environment court
- Private plan changes
- Communicate effectively and work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders
- Contribute to business development activities and networking events in the region
- Mentor junior staff
Your Qualifications and Experience:
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- 6+ years of relevant NZ experience
- NZPI full membership or ability to apply for full membership is an advantage
- Experience in regional consenting
- The ability to manage concurrent projects and handle responsibility.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with others.
- High motivation, attention to detail, and an enthusiastic approach to your work.
