Opportunity for a Project Manager to join an award winning residential company with a strong forward who are amongst Tauranga's most recognized and dynamic new home builders.
The role will see the successful candidate possess a strong understanding of the full build process. Ideally you come with previous residential Pm experience.
Understanding Project Management, managing a process, planning and utilising software packages to streamline your activities is important. However utilising carpentry training, skills and experience to solve problems on site if you come with those will serve you well, while thriving on opportunities to learn and further develop your career in this industry.
The role will see you play a significant and pivotal part of a close-knit team. You will work amongst an experienced team of construction experts who have strong business acumen and be involved in running multiple jobs across a variety of residential projects. They are a passionate and energized company and can offer a variety of new builds and challenges grouped within their own and customer developments.
This role is for someone who is highly organised, has high attention to detail and is an effective communicator and collaborative Project Manager.
You will be expected to manage the direction, schedule and progress of your allocated houses, ensuring that all time frames & priorities are met, with no compromise to the standard of workmanship and quality of these homes. You will ensure that the companies brand is protected by delivering excellence in customer service acting in the best interest of the Company at all times.
Due to the role being split between office and site, applicants will ideally bring a good working knowledge of MS Office suite, have the ability to pick up construction management software and be an excellent communicator, effectively liaising with sub-contractors and stakeholders.

You will need:
- experience with qualification within NZ construction (preferred)
- A high level of commitment to health and safety
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to delegate
- To be capable of driving project teams forward as a cohesive and focused unit
- A proven track record of delivering ahead of time, to budget and beyond client expectations
- Possess the ability to think on your feet and to solve problems quickly and effectively
- LBP highly regarded
- You must have NZ citizenship or Permanent residency
