Quantity Surveyor - North Shore - Commercial Contractor
This organisation is a well established contractor in Auckland with branches throughout the North Island and has a very strong relationship with this key client with a strong pipeline of work.
They are an attractive option for an ambitious construction professional. They have a strong high performing commercial team and a mix of industrial and commercial projects underway. Due to new project being awarded they are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to manage a $40m new build from start to finish on the North Shore.
You will be primarily responsible for the preparation of budgets and estimates for tender and design and at times multiple projects. We need someone who can look after financials independently, with some management guidance on more than one project if needed.
You will possess appropriate tertiary qualifications and have had a commercial QS focus throughout your work history. Enthusiasm and motivation is a must, as is a 'can do' attitude and a passion for the building industry along with a good attitude backed up by solid references. You will be driven, personable and have excellent communication and collaboration skills with good attention to detail. You will happy to work autonomously and have no issue reporting to offsite management.
