Experienced Hydraulic Service Technician needed.
Business is cranking, so our client needs an experienced Hydraulic Service Technician.
This role is ultimately about providing a high-quality multi-product install, repair and maintenance service to a diverse range of customers across the BOP. They design, manufacture, repair, and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems for various industries, including Marine, Transport, Agricultural, and Industrial, making the work varied and interesting.
You will have a love of fixing things along with a desire to provide customers with an exceptional level of service........if that sounds like you then we want to hear from you!

- Diagnose and repair hydraulic systems and components
- Perform routine maintenance and servicing on a variety of hydraulic equipment
- Interpret technical drawings and schematics to troubleshoot issues
- Fabricate custom hydraulic hoses and fittings as required
- Provide technical advice and support to clients
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in compliance with safety regulations
The ideal applicant should have:
- A clean and full NZ Driver's Licence.
- Trade/field services experience in mechanical fitting, with a hydraulics background.
- Hands-on experience with pumps, valves, actuators, hydraulic hoses, hydraulic fluid, high-pressure equipment, or similar is essential. Experience with truck-mounted cranes is also an advantage.
- Good numeracy, verbal, and written skills.
- A strong work ethic, pride in work, and drive to learn new skills.
- Desire to be a team player in a fast-paced work environment.
