Fit Out Site Manager

We are seeking an experienced and detail-driven Site Manager – Fit Out to lead all internal works during the finishing stages of this iconic project.
This is a pivotal role for a professional who takes pride in exceptional workmanship, thrives in a busy site environment, and understands the intricacies of high-end large fit-out projects delivery.

As the Site Manager – Fit Out, you’ll take full ownership of all internal trades during the fit-out phase. Working closely with the Senior Site Manager, you’ll coordinate day-to-day onsite activities, manage subcontractors, and ensure every interior detail reflects the quality and design intent our client is known for. You will play a critical role in delivering beautifully crafted interiors, on time, safely, and to an uncompromising standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coordinate, and manage all onsite fit-out works and trade sequencing
• Oversee installation and finishing of partitions, wall linings, ceilings, joinery, fixtures, fittings, and all interior elements
• Maintain rigorous quality control to ensure premium finishes throughout
• Drive daily site coordination to achieve programme milestones
• Work collaboratively with design, procurement, and project management teams
• Ensure all works meet NZ construction standards and health & safety requirements
• Motivate and manage subcontractor teams to deliver consistent, high-quality outcomes
• Conduct regular inspections to assess progress, workmanship, and adherence to plans
• Provide accurate reporting and updates to the Senior Site Manager on progress, risks, and resourcing

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Site Manager delivering high-end multi storied  apartment or commercial fit-outs
• Strong technical understanding of interiors, sequencing, joinery, and finishing details
• Excellent leadership and communication skills across diverse trade teams
• A sharp eye for detail and a passion for superior craftsmanship
• Strong knowledge of NZ building standards, H&S, and QA processes
• Outstanding organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach to site challenges
