Senior Civil Engineer - Varied Civil & Infrastructure Project Work

This established engineering consultancy is involved in a broad range of commercial, community and infrastructure projects across New Zealand. With a strong reputation in the structural space and an increasing workload across civil engineering projects, they are looking to add an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to their Christchurch office.

This role offers variety, autonomy and the opportunity to work closely with clients, architects, structural engineers and contractors across a range of projects from concept through to delivery.

The Role

You will be involved in civil design across a range of commercial and  infrastructure-related projects, with responsibilities covering 3 waters, earthworks and roading design using Civil 3D. The role will also include construction monitoring, client interaction and working closely alongside structural engineers and wider project teams.

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 5+ years’ NZ civil engineering consulting experience
• Strong Civil 3D capability
• Experience across 3 waters, earthworks and roading design
• Construction monitoring and contract administration exposure
• Strong communication and client-facing skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
