Site Supervisor needed for prominent regional Civil Contractor undertaking water, civil and land development projects
- Min 3+ years NZ experience running sites
- Strong forward workload in a variety of civil and water projects

Harper Smith have an opportunity on offer for an experienced and professional Civil Site Supervisor to take their experience to the next level. Our client is a successful, long established and very busy regional civil contracting firm undertaking water infrastructure projects, civil structures, bulk earthworks, and land development.
Responsibilities for this position include overseeing the management of the site including Health & Safety requirements, tradespeople and sub-contractors. Liaising with the Project Manager in regards to priorities, programme, materials supply and stock levels, troubleshooting and resource requirements. Communicating with Council Representatives and Project Engineer’s in regards to testing, compliance and technical accuracy.
You’ll be working with a variety of people on site, so your ability to be a hands on supervisor and a professional and confident communicator will hold you in good stead. You will be undertaking inductions, tool box talks and ensuring everything on site is efficient and effective. You’ll be highly organised, competent and confident managing a team.

- Good general civils experience in particular on drainage projects with a minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Site Supervisor or a senior foreman looking to step up with this civil contractor
- Proficient at using a computer and record keeping
- An effective communicator
