Quantity Surveyor Commercial Contractor, Tauranga

We are seeking an experienced QS with solid NZ contractual  experience working in a main commercial contractor to become part of the cohesive and professional team within this well recognized regional company. This position will see the successful candidate thriving in a project focused role working alongside a high performing commercial team and Directors with the ability to be totally hands on. You will be responsible for full contract administration duties, budget comparisons, tender analysis of sub-contractors, sub-contractor agreements, variations and preparation of budgets.


You may also be required to:

• Look to improve the business systems and efficiency to improve production.
• Accurately set and measure all pricing.
• Prepare registrations of interest, estimates and proposals for the Sales function of the business.

This organisation has a solid and loyal client base and is currently enjoying a strong period of growth. This role will have you working on both small and large-scale projects.

• A tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying 
• Strong experience in commercial Quantity Surveying on large projects
• Efficient organisational and planning skills with an eye for detail
• Effective communication and negotiation skills 
• Solid computer skills 
• NZ Drivers license
