Estimator Electrical - Tauranga

Our client is a NZ owned prominent electrical contracting business, that undertakes a wide range of projects, including Health, retirement, Education, Commercial, multi-story residential, and industrial sectors. Their clients include many of the Bay’s leading Building firms.
They are seeking an estimator to join and enhance their business. In this role, you will be responsible for estimating ensuring tender packages are complete, accurate and submitted in accordance with the tender conditions from clients.
  
Responsibilities and expectations include –
  

• Ideally you have 2 years experience within the Commercial Electrical sector, as an Estimator.
• You may be a qualified sparky looking to get off the tools and have measured and priced jobs 
• Review tender documents, drawings, and plans.
• Evaluate the labour and materials costs of electrical projects.
• Create accurate take-offs.
• Project risk analysis.
• Client, supplier, and sub-contractor liaison.
• Review supplier costs.
• Preparation and submission of tender bids.
• Preparation and submission of design and build proposals.
• Relationship management.
